Tn A Puppy Overcomes Trauma By Receiving Unwavering Love And Tender Care After Suffering A Muzzle Injury

After being discovered with a hairband firmly knotted over her muzzle, a mistreated puppy was surrendered to a no-kill animal shelter.

The hairband was “completely entrenched, it went down to the bone,” causing significant swelling and tripling the size of her little face.

Cincinnati Animal CARE in the United States provided her with “urgent care,” removing the hairband and sewing up the huge hole.

Tiffany was named by the shelter’s employees after their “favorite eighties pop artist.”

It is thought that the hairband was employed to restrain the young puppy from barking, as is customary with zip ties.

The horrible degree of the maltreatment was revealed through the animal center’s ghastly Facebook posts.

Tiffany handled her emergency care like a “champ,” according to the rescue crew, and spent the night with a member of the medical team.

Tiffany is currently “healing nicely, eating and drinking properly,” according to a recent update, and is being cared for by the Good Samaritan who found her.

Tiffany’s swelling has dropped dramatically, and her face is now sewn up and healing.

Cincinnati Animal CARE is seeking for information on Tiffany and her abuser, and PETA has even offered a prize for anybody who can lead to an arrest.

Those with information about the incident can call Hamilton County Dog Wardens at 513-541-7387.

Tiffany’s latest update! “Yesterday, our wonderful gal paid us a visit at the shelter! Her sutures look beautiful, she’s recovering wonderfully, and she’s doing so well in her foster home with the kind people that gave her to us!” Cincinnati Animal CARE said on their Facebook page.

It’s remarkable how resilient animals are – this female is a happy, healthy, flourishing puppy!
