This story began in Turkey. Oztuk Ismail saw a stray dog on the street and adopted him. Zozo was the name he gave to his pet. Because Oztuk liked him, the dog was quite connected to him and enjoyed spending time with him.
On February 10, 2014, Oztuk Ismail passed away. His demise came as a shock to his whole family. Zozo has been the most devastated member of the household, suffering from despair for the past two years after losing his human buddy. The dog was devastated by the loss of his loving master.
Oztuk’s widow and son observed that the dog was often disappearing from the house. He returned at the end of the day, but we didn’t know from where.
Oztuk Zafer, the son of Oztuk Ismail, decided to visit his father’s tomb one day and observed an animal sleeping on top of the grave from a distance. As he came closer, he noticed Zozo. Zozo came to the grave every day for two years, inconsolable. Zozo’s son realized how much he missed his father.
The son claims that he was the one who initially carried the dog to his father’s grave. No one anticipated Zozo to walk to the cemetery at the end of the village every day, rain or shine, to visit his comrade.
Despite its inability to communicate, the animal continues to demonstrate its affection for its owner by identical gestures.
The prior master, who must have been a lovely man, deserved his dog’s companionship and devotion.
